Outboard Kill Switch Strap

When alone in the inflatable, I like to have that little kill strap attached
to my person, to avoid an embarrassing
(and dangerous) situation.
So I whipped this up while watching TV, to make it a little easier to handle.
It's just a little piece of bungee cord,
formed into a loop with a little hog crimp.

I covered the clamp with a little Ancor heat shrink. Set the heat gun on 500W to avoid melting the bungee cord cover!
It fits around the wrist, but I like to wear
it on my ankle.
It's a pain, but those inflatables can get squirrelly when you're running
flat out in a bit of chop, and it's better to be safe than sorry!
