Do your wallet a favor and don't bother.
Nigel Calder (Boatowner's Mechanical & Electrical Manual) and
Charlie Wing (Boatowner's Illustrated Handbook of Wiring)
have written good books on boat wiring.
Wing's book also contains the ABYC Standards at 1/4 the price.
