The galley cabinet doors turned out so well that I rushed right out and made matching ones for the head. These head cabinets are almost impossible to use. To the right, the door is as far open as it will go!
Construction is exactly the same as the galley doors, so there's no need to show pictures.
It's great to be able to open the door and see what's in the cabinet, and to be able to store things larger than a single roll of paper.
I cleaned up the latch mechanism both in the galley and
here in the head. The locking latch also serves as a little handle to pull
the door open.
It's raised up on a little piece of teak.
