February 2002 - Another quick project. I want a grate at the bottom of the anchor locker, so the rode isn't sitting in water. It seemed like polyethelene would be a nice non-maintenance material, so I bought a 1/2" thick sheet of it from McMaster-Carr. This is the impact resistant, chemical resistant kind.

After cutting it to fit, I took a router to the bottom side and cut drainage grooves. Then I drilled 1/2 inch holes at all the intersections.

Now I just need to haul the 250 feet of chain out of the anchor locker and stick this on the bottom.
